Born on January 12, 2004 in Melbourne, Florida, Crystal moved to Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 2. She started playing piano at the age of 5.

  She participated in the OMTA piano competitions at that age and won first place. She has also participated in the OMTA piano competitions when she was 6 and 7 and won again.  Those were her first competitions.

   At the age of 7 and a half, she moved to Livingston, New Jersey. She took classes with Alla Iovel, M.A.  She participated in the Crescendo International Competition that same year. She received First Place in that year (2011) and went to Carnegie Hall for a performance. The same year, she went to the Little Mozarts International Competition also receiving First Place and therefore performing in Carnegie Hall again. 

   At the age of 8 in 2012, Crystal participated in the Crescendo International Competition again, receiving Grand Prize and First Place. With a full score of 30 out of 30, she went to Carnegie Hall again and also performed. The same year she participated in the Little Mozarts International Competition receiving First Place and performing in Carnegie Hall again.

    At the age of 9 in 2013, she participated in the Crescendo Competition again, receiving First Place, and performed in Carnegie Hall. Also winning First Place in the Little Mozarts Competition, she performed at Carnegie Hall.

    When she was 10 in 2014, Crystal participated in the Student Exchange Program in the Crescendo International Competition committee. She traveled to Boston, MA with her group where they performed in Rockport Shalin Liu Performance Center and MIT. Crystal received master classes with Tanya Schwartzman.

    Later in 2014, Crystal received master classes with Professor Igor Lebedev PhD. 

   In November, she participated in the Crescendo International Competition receiving Grand Prize and First Place again. She went to Carnegie Hall on January 18, 2015 to perform. 

  On June 7, 2015 Crystal had her first piano solo concert where she played 8 pieces non-stop.

   In November of 2015, Crystal participated in the Crescendo International Competition. She received a 30/30 score and got Grand Prize. On Febraury 14, 2016 she performed at Carnegie Hall.

 

  Later in March, she traveled to New Hampshire and participated in the Manchester Community Music School competition. She brought home the award of 1st Place.
